Scope of Work: HEART Hub Logo, Website, and Marketing Materials  

Project Title: Healthcare Education and Regional Training (HEART) Hub  

Budget: To be determined based on proposal submissions   

 

Overview  

The Lake County Economic Development Corporation, on behalf of the Healthcare Education and Regional Training (HEART) Hub Stakeholders and Oversight Committee, seeks to engage a qualified consultant to develop a logo, website, and marketing materials for the HEART Hub training facility.  

 

Objective

The primary objective is to collaboratively design and implement multiple Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways for healthcare careers, leading to certifications and preparation for post-secondary education. These pathways aim to meet the diverse cultural and educational needs of Lake County students, equipping them for success in the healthcare workforce.

Scope of Work

The selected consultant will complete the following tasks:  

 

Logo Design

  • Develop a distinctive logo that reflects the HEART Hub’s mission, regional identity, and the diverse communities of rural Lake and Mendocino Counties.  
  • Provide the logo in multiple electronic formats (vector files, PNG, JPEG) and color schemes to ensure adaptability across various applications.  
  • Ensure the logo design aligns with the overarching goals of workforce development and education.  

 

Website Development

Design and build a user-friendly website that serves as a central hub for program information.  Implement core functionalities, including:

  • A searchable resource library for training materials and healthcare career pathways.  
  • A scheduling module for classes, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.  
  • Mobile responsiveness and accessibility features to ensure usability across devices.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input on desired outcomes and ensure alignment with program goals.  

 

Marketing Materials 

Develop branded materials to support fundraising efforts and program recruitment, including:

  • Digital and print brochures, flyers, and promotional assets.  
  • Social media graphics and content templates.  
  • Presentation materials for donor outreach.  
  • Provide a cohesive set of color schemes, fonts, and design elements to support future marketing efforts.  

 

Deliverables  

  • Finalized HEART Hub Logo in multiple formats.  
  • Fully functional HEART Hub Website, with integrated features and stakeholder-reviewed content.  
  • Comprehensive suite of marketing materials for recruitment and fundraising.  

 

Consultant Qualifications 

Proposals must demonstrate the following expertise:  

  • Extensive experience in website development, branding, and marketing material design.  
  • A proven track record in culturally inclusive design and collaborative stakeholder engagement.  

 

Proposal Requirements 

Interested consultants should include the following in their proposals:  

  • A detailed project plan, including timelines, deliverables, and key milestones.  
  • Examples of past projects showcasing similar branding and marketing work.  
  • A budget breakdown outlining cost estimates for each section of the scope of work.  
  • References from previous clients.  

 

Future Considerations

Additional funding is expected, and upon successful execution of the initial contract, further scopes of work and budget expansions may be incorporated.  

 

Timeline  

  • RFP Release Date: May 29, 2025  
  • Proposal Submission Deadline: June 15, 2025 (by 5:00 PM PDT)  
  • Consultant Selection Announcement: June 20, 2025  
  • Project Start Date: July 1, 2025  
  • Project Completion Date: June 30, 2026
