CEDS

Learn more about the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy process and how to get involved.

Lake County Economic Development Corporation (Lake EDC) has received a grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) to complete an update to the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).

The CEDS contributes to the effective economic development in local communities through a place-based economic development planning process. The CEDS update will be a locally driven effort to guide the economic prosperity and resiliency of Lake County and serves to engage community leaders and private sector firms in the development of the five-year plan.

Lake EDC will be seeking community input and collaboration during the 12-month process. Steps in the process will include data analysis, community listening sessions and engagement with agencies involved in infrastructure, private sector industry, healthcare, resiliency education, natural environment, and government.

Check back often for updates. Planning updates should be released soon.
