Before The Smoke: A Lake County Business Preparedness Forum

Lake County businesses face recurring threats from wildfires, power outages, and other emergencies.
This event was intended to help business owners act before disaster strikes – building the knowledge, contacts, and plans that can mean the difference between a business that survives a crisis and one that doesn’t.

The Lake County Office of Emergency Services (OES), the Lake County Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce hosted Before the Smoke: A Lake County Business Preparedness Forum, a free community event designed to connect local businesses with the resources, agencies, and relationships needed to prepare for and recover from disaster.
The forum was held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM at Kelseyville Presbyterian Church.
